Estate Settlement and Property Law in Jamaica – The Windrush Generation and their Legacy

The expo and legal clinics seek to:

1. Provide accurate, practical, and accessible information on estate settlement and property matters in Jamaica.

2. Equip attendees with the knowledge to resolve long-standing land issues, including family land disputes, missing documents, un-probated wills, accessing properties left by family members who died without a will, and informal land ownership.
   
3. Honour the legacy of the Windrush Generation by helping families protect generational assets in Jamaica.
   
4. Create an ongoing network of support linking UK-based families to reputable Jamaican legal, land, and administrative professionals.

• Pop – Up Clinic in Manchester – June 16 -17, Windrush Millennium Centre
• Two–Day Pop–Up Clinic in Bristol – June 18 – 19

A series of free online information sessions will be convened on Zoom and shared among community groups leading up to the in-person sessions in June to build momentum:
